    PEFENAP’s Climate Change Project is a community-driven initiative focused on building resilience, strengthening adaptation, and promoting sustainable environmental practices in response to the growing impacts of climate change in Malawi. The project works closely with the Malawi Meteorological Department to ensure that communities receive timely, accurate, and reliable weather and climate information that supports informed decision-making. Through this partnership, early warning systems are strengthened, enabling communities to better prepare for floods, droughts, and other climate-related hazards.

    PEFENAP’s Child Protection Project is a rights-based initiative committed to safeguarding children from all forms of abuse, neglect, exploitation, and violence. The project is grounded in the belief that every child deserves to grow up in a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where their rights are respected and their wellbeing is protected. It addresses both immediate protection concerns and the underlying social, economic, and cultural factors that place children at risk within communities.

    Small Arms Confiscation Project PEFENAP’s Small Arms Confiscation Project is a strategic peace and security initiative aimed at reducing violence, preventing armed crime, and promoting long-term stability within communities. The project addresses the risks posed by the illegal possession, circulation, and misuse of small arms and firearms, which continue to threaten safety and undermine development in many areas. Through structured community engagement, civic education, and targeted awareness campaigns, PEFENAP helps communities understand the dangers of illicit weapons and encourages active participation in building safer environments.
